John H. Sothoron, a married white male, 79 years, 0 months & 25 days of age, died at 12:05 pm on 30 April 1935, at Springfield State Hospital, Sykesville, Carroll Co., MD. His usual residence was 1514 Park Ave., Baltimore, Md.; he had been at Springfield for 1 year, 11 months & 21 days. He was born April 5, 1856 in St. Mary’s Co., Md. To John H. Sothoron & Elizabeth Somervell, both born in Maryland. His occupation was St. Roads Inspector, and he had last worked in 1932; total time worked was unknown. His wife was Elizabeth B. Dare. Informant was Hospital Records.

- Cause of death was General arteriosclerosis of unk. duration, with contributory cause of Chronic myocarditis with cardiac compensation, present since Sept ‘34. There was no autopsy. Certification was by John L. Wethered, M.D., Springfield State Hospital, Sykesville, MD.
